Haggling away…

A division of Kraft Foods (KFT) has agreed to purchase two corporate aircraft for $47.2 million from a division of parent-company Altria Group (MO). From earlier filings, it’s impossible to determine how much Altria paid for the two planes, both of them late-model Gulfstreams. One of the planes has 12 seats, the other, built in 2003, has 14. But one can only imagine how the two parties must have haggled over the price, given the nature of the relationship.
