		<description>I saw that use of Writers Guild too and something didn&#039;t seem quite right but story was so &quot;behind the scenes&quot; neat that I just sped on.  Maybe I thought, well freelancers have access to their on unions or guilds. And there are those Net things for freelancets. 
Guess Timers love their new digs, esp food cafe, that they
can&#039;t be bothered with trivia like balancing the books.
Read Gretchen Morgenson on private equity buying up rent controlled/stabilized apts to fix up &amp; jack rents.
Interesting enough piece but more of as subject usually covered by the rookie beat?  She made her mark on big picture econ issues, nat&#039;l and internat&#039;l.  Maybe NYT 
doesn&#039;t want to pay her freight?
