Here in the UK our regulators have BANNED shorting in Financial stocks for four (4)months. I note Senator McCain has stated if he was President at this time that he would fire Christopher Cox - wow!!!! Do footnoted adherents agree? We live in interesting times. I'm re-reading the seminal J K Galbraith's "The Great Crash 1929"!!! Admist all the US events this week I still am "gobsmacked" most by Merrill's takeover.
