		<description>The bigger picture, to me, leads back to the dogged belief that 1. America practices a capitalist system 2. Therefore, let the markets sort themselves out, ie laisez-faire. Good old conventional wisdom that is currently being reiterated by Republicans eager to erase the Bush2 years, which ironically exposed the capitalists as practicing a corrupted version by the way, and regroup. 
Why wasn&#039;t there more poilicing going on? Because deregulation was a key to capitalism, which is true, but again, the version we were exposed to wasn&#039;t quite up to par. So, in theory capitalism was pushed, but in practice, not so much. Who doesn&#039;t want to be called a capitalist, after all? As long as Republicans can fall back on the false title of capitalists, no real change will ever occur.</description>
