Pay conflicts and Congress…
If you’re looking for something to keep on in the background while you’re eating lunch (or having more coffee for those on the west coast), tune in to the hearing that’s going on right now before the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Government Reform. I’ve missed the beginning, but hopefully the feed will be archived. The President of Mercer (MERC) Human Resources is on now. Like the typical scripted conference call, the comp experts seem to be largely sticking to the prepared script, so don’t expect big fireworks.
