		<description>That is the funniest excuse ever.  Basically, it says their earnings are down because they can&#039;t harass people.  The people on that list specifically requested to be there so I doubt they would have responded positively to a telemarketing call.

Besides, I can&#039;t picture who would buy books from a phone call anyway.  My sons always bring home those Scholastic book sales papers and it takes hours of excitedly pouring over them together to decide what books to get.

Maybe they should try new marketing ideas.  I bet they could get a lot of sales online.  Maybe they should try something like MuVar for their website.  Or they could have fliers at bookstores or libraries.  

Mostly though I think they should stick to advertizing through those papers they give the kids at school.  The kids love that and for a short time are very excited about books and reading.</description>
