		<description>Dell could be getting help from its insurers, and failed to mention it due to the immateriality of the sum???  Defense costs on these trials can also be quite large, and the related derivative actions possibly require separate defense teams for each individual defendant which may be paid for by the same insurance.  The large insider selling can definitely be a problem as it allows the plaintiffs to argue that management knew something was amiss.  The settlement may have been a way to squash any further cost and uncertainty.</description>

		<description>Nice piece. 2006 &amp; 2007 about time ACER and Apple began to kick into a gear that 
sidestepped Dell&#039;s model.  Faced with a rush at lower end from China and at upper end from Apple what&#039;s a poor overpriced model to do when mid range HP is eating up
only part left?  Better to beat a path to exit door than compete with netbooks and
such low ball giveaways.  Market smelled this one coming. With retail players knocked
out of game the pro shorties had/have freedom to hammer the keys.</description>
