Typical AP's slanting the news. Check out Fannie Mae's games, and you will see that it was the congressional dems that protected Fannie Mae and now are going to make everything alright. It was the Dems that said everyone should own a house and passed the community housing act. Bush should have vetoed it and a lot (certainly not all) on what happened with regard to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could have been lessened.
