I own some stock, and have seen all my initial gains evaporating and am now in negative territory. I spend a lot of time watching foot-traffic to stores I invest in. Based on that I can say that they must really be hurting now. Chico's may still be able to work a turnaround though given the not-so-crowded list of retailers selling to the particular segment they target.
