Now we are Six…
Six years ago today, footnoted entered the world. Last year, to celebrate the site’s fifth anniversary, we went all out with this video and gave away a week’s worth of footnoted swag. But this year, we’re taking a more subtle approach with this classic poem, The End, by A.A. Milne:
When I was one,
I had just begun
When I was Two,
I was nearly new

When I was Three,
I was hardly Me
When I was Four,
I was not much more
When I was Five,
I was just alive
But now I am Six, I’m as clever as clever.
So I think I’ll be six now for ever and ever.
Thanks to all of our many readers over the past six years. All of us here at footnoted — including the real brain behind the site — hope to continue to tempt and delight you over the coming year with our unique take on what’s buried in SEC filings! At a time when advertising has fallen sharply, footnoted relies on readers to support the site and keep it free for all. If you value footnoted content, please consider making a donation to mark the site’s sixth anniversary.

That’s great Michelle, congrats! Can’t believe footnoted has been around that long, an awesome feat and a testament to the content. Congrats again.

Thanks for the congrats, everyone. BTW — Lexi, the kid in last year’s video got it right on Citigroup! Not half bad, considering she was only 9 at the time!
