Breaking news: Footnoted.org sold!

images.jpegAfter several months of tough negotiations, I’m happy to announce that footnoted.org has been acquired by Microsoft’s (MSFT) outside public relations firm, Waggener Edstrom. Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, I am able to confirm that a certain secret dossier was part of the deal. I discovered the dossier several weeks ago when portions of it were accidentally emailed to me. As I subsequently learned, executives and outside PR teams at the 817 companies who have been featured on footnoted.org since the site launched 3 1/2 years ago, had been secretly and collectively gathering information about not just me, but the real brain behind footnoted.org.

In addition to the dossier and an undisclosed cache of cash, I was able to secure unlimited access to Waggener Edstrom’s corporate jet for the rest of my life, office space in Olympic Tower and the requisite tax gross-up. Kumara was also given access to the corporate jet as well as a lifetime supply of Sea Jerky.
